I have been using Twitter for almost 2 weeks now. What do I think about it? (you may ask) I think it’s really great. It was like having streaming of information 24/7. You can know your friends better by know what they are doing, you can make more friends by following other people’s twitter, you can promote and share your idea (or blog post), and you can learn so much from others about so many things.
My principle in using Twitter now is to socialize and learn. Although Twitter can only give you so called “virtual friends,” it’s still a great tool to make new friends. On top of that, you are not just following your friends, you can also learn what other people say about things, such as internet marketing, blogging principle, how to handle life, technology, etc.
HOWEVER….how can you be a better Twitter-”er”? @MariaSmart recommended me TweetDeck
TweetDeck is a Twitter desktop program that you can install on your computer to follow your Twitter activities. You can track a lot of things with this program, all friends, direct messages, and replies, are some of them. Do you think you can be a better Twitter-”er”? Absolutely. With this you can track all your Twitters in one place even when you are not visiting twitter website, or loading your iPhone Twitter application. It’s almost like an email program than can notify you anytime you have anything going on your twitter.
Let me know what do you think about this program? Are you a better Twitter-”er” now?
