Food Roundup from Week 18 – 2011

I am always a big fan of eating, especially eating GOOD food. After being inspired by Andrew Zimmern’s show, Bizarre Foods by Travel Channel, I decided to share some of my food exploration journey that I did. Granted, it’s not gonna be as bizarre as his foods are. I will focus on variety and taste in this case, not so much on bizarreness. I’ll write down also any comments that I might have regarding the place.

I hope you enjoy it. NO drooling please! 🙂

Sushi Yoko - Tapas Menu

“Great tapas menu for the price. Between M-F 5pm-7pm (if I’m not mistaken), you can choose 5 different appetizers + a beer for the price of $14. Food portion is plenty and served hot. I personally like their Takoyaki. They have a more traditional sushi menu and taste, so if you like a more americanized-sushi, then this place is not for you. Probably that’s why you can find many Japanese came to this place.”

Bento Cafe - Pork Chop Bento

“Bento cafe has been my favorite place for Taiwanese food. They are not overpriced, and in the same time, I still can find the home-cooking taste from their food. Two of my favorite dishes here are fried drum-stick bento and Taiwanese stir-fried noodle.”

Crawfish Shack - "Shack-Tastic Platter for One"

“OMG…I can’t believe that I could find a good place to eat seafood in Atlanta, GA. Their cajun spices are so rich that they penetrate into the seafood meat itself. I ordered the platter so I can taste little bit of everything. My favorite ones are the crawfish and shrimp. They were so good. Come there with your friends and family…you’ll have a good time there.”

I Luv Pho - Pho Bo

“Rich broth, plenty of meat and friendly servers. Plus, they open 24 hours 7 days a week, so if you were craving for Vietnamese pho at 2AM in the morning, you know where to go now. “

If you have visited any places I mentioned above, please leave a comment below. How did the food taste? What’s your experience being in the restaurant? … and so on. If not, leave your comments anyway…cause I just like to hear something back from you 🙂
