I submitted my website to CellPhones.org Blogging Appreciation Awards few weeks ago, and I just got this email in my inbox:
Dear Steven,
I wanted to let you know that your blog made it to the semi-finalist round of the Blogger Appreciation Awards. Our judges looked over thousands of nominations and yours was only one of 200 (less than 10% of the submissions) that has been recognized for blogging excellence. While you did not make the final round of voting, you should feel proud of this accomplishment, knowing that we determined your blog to be in the top 10% of all submissions.
We encourage you to let your readers know about your accomplishment by featuring this badge on your blog:
The requirements are pretty straight forward. I have to be an active blogger for at least 2 months. No spam and automated blog. So, I submitted my blog, and surprisingly I was choosen as the semi-finalist.
Thank you CellPhones.org! I’m grateful, and it is an honour for me to be a part of your contest. Let this be an encouragement for me to be a better blogger in the future.
Congratulations! That’s awesome Steven! That’s quite an honor. Good job.

Thank you, Marissa. There are still lots of room for improvements though.
Wow!It’s great for you! What was the requirement for our blog to participate on this contest,Steven? I guess it’s only for those who posted a cell phone review,ya?
Can you please let me know if there is a blogger contest/appreciation awards again that might be suitable for my blog, off course with much broaden readers like what what I’m aiming now (not limited for Indonesian readers only)
Thanks!!
gabybali’s last blog post..THIS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE
Thanks, Gaby. The requirements are that you have to be an active blogger for at least 2 months, no spam and automated blog. This is the 1st time I participate in this kind of contest, so I’m not sure how exactly they are grading the participants.
I’ll try to let you know if I found another ones with broader readers like this in the future.
